Sniplits is looking for great storytellers!

At Sniplits, we're simply crazy about short stories. We think more of them should be published. So, we're working furiously toward launching as a new short story publisher. Our goal is to make Sniplits the single best place to find wonderful, short tales for downloading to your MP3 player, cellphone or whatever. We're accepting and reviewing manuscripts now, and we welcome the work of new as well as established authors.


NOTE NEW WRITER GUIDELINES!

We're looking for: Stories between 50 and 8,000 words
  • Literary
  • Mainstream
  • Mystery/Thriller
  • Humor
  • Romance
  • Speculative/Fantasy
  • Action/Adventure
  • Historical
  • Horror
  • Western
  • Young adult

We don't want: Anything hateful, pornographic or excessively violent

We pay:
$30 to $150 paid on publication
Royalty potential

To submit your story:
  • Paste your manuscript in the body of an e-mail and send it to: acquisitions@sniplits.com
  • Include your name, address, email, phone number and a brief bio
  • Include the story type in the email header (e.g. "Literary Submission," "Mystery Submission"
  • We'll read your story and respond as soon as we can (currently we're running a 4-5 month backlog)
  • ONLY submit one story at a time (we're trying to drive down the backlog)
  • We do consider reprints
